The Miniature Bernedoodle is a crossbreed, by combining the playful Miniature Poodle with the gentle Bernese Mountain Dog. Known for their affectionate nature, charming looks, intelligence, and easy trainability, Bernedoodles are adored by families and individuals alike. With their soft, wavy coats and expressive eyes, Miniature Bernedoodles exude a joyous and approachable personality.


Physical Characteristics

As their name implies, Mini Bernedoodles are smaller than their standard counterparts. Adult Mini Bernedoodles typically weigh between 20 to 49 pounds and stand about 13 to 22 inches tall at the shoulder, size varies depending on the specific parentage.

 

Their coats can be curly, wavy, or straight, depending on the influence of the Poodle or Bernese Mountain Dog parent. Coat colors are often tri-color (black, white, and rust), but can also be bi-color or solid black, sable, or merle. The low-shedding, hypoallergenic coat makes them suitable for many allergy sufferers (trust me).

  • Size: Typically 13 to 22 inches; weighs between 20 and 49 pounds.

  • Coat: Wavy or curly, and considered hypoallergenic. Colors include tricolor (black, white, and brown), black and white, or merle variations.

  • Lifespan: Generally 12 to 18 years.
